Yes we know we didn't post anything on Days 5 & 6.  There really wasn't anything significant to report.  But having been cooped up in the house for a couple days, Defense Rifle seems to be itching to get out of the house.

Rifle is sitting over in the corner playing with my camo hat with the built in LED's. Wonder if he trying to tell me he wants to go hunting

Day 2

I came home from work today and found Mr. Defense Rifle enjoying another quiet day of not assaulting anyone. He was laying on the bed quietly reading. However, I was a bit concerned that he was reading "The Girlfriend Book"???

Day One

 

I decided to do a little project about how guns cause violence.I am going to begin keeping a daily diary outlining the number of violent actions that my lil black gun goes out and commits each day. Having listened to the Anti-Gun crowd and their insistence that GUNS CAUSE VIOLENCE......I figure it wont take long before my gun sneaks out of the house and runs amok. So....take notice you violent little fucker...I AM WATCHING YOU!!

Day One: my evil black "ASSAULT" rifle has assaulted no one in the past 24 hours.

Why does this blog exist??

This blog has been created in the wake of the Aurora, Colorado tragedy in an attempt to address (or counter) the media's endless use of the term "Assault Weapon". The term "Assault" by definition is an offensive action. There are millions of gun owners across the United States that own "Defensive" Firearms that the media classifies as "Assault" weapons. These defensive firearms are enjoyed by their owners, some on a daily basis, and are not used to commit crimes.
